I love breakfast food! I have lots of pancake recipes, casserole recipes and even skillet recipes. I was super excited when Bloomfield Farms gave me a box of their pancake and waffle mix to try.
I doubled the recipe because I wanted to have extra that I could heat up during the week. I also added GF vanilla and a dash of cinnamon - a family secret for perfect pancakes!
They were easy to make and even rose well!
I ate mine with margarine and maple syrup.
I thought the taste was very good. It wasn't as sweet as the GF Bisquik mix, so if you like a sweeter pancake you may want to add some sugar. The texture was on point - not too dense and not gritty.
For a fun twist I also used the mix to make mini-donuts that came out great too!
For the donuts I added 1/4 cup sugar, doubled the oil, added 1/2 cup milk, and 1 tbsp of baking powder. A big hit with the toddler!
