Expo East 2014 Wrap Up

Total fail on my part that the final Expo East wrap up has taken me two months to write.  Totally my bad!  But since there were so many amazing products there I still wanted to take the time to share them with you.  So check out all the awesome Gluten Free stuff and enter the giveaway below for some fabulous Gluten Free products!ExpoEast Imaceliac

To start with, let me remind you about the game changers that I found on day one!

There were some clear trends this year at Expo East: drinks, popcorn, snack bars.  Mind you there were a bunch of products but many of them did fit into these three categories.  I will say that I was super surprised that there were so many Gluten Free prodcuts, I definatly did not leave hungry!  So here are some of the products that stood out to me at Expo East.

SNACK FOODS

Veggie Fries – they look like fries, taste yummy and are filled with veggies – its a win all around.

My Dad’s Cookies – Gluten and Dairy free cookies made with love my a dad for his kids.

Harvest Stone – This is Crunchmaster’s answer to Gluten Free travel mix.  Yum!

Wild Garden Snack Packs To Go – single serve hummus packs with GF crackers.  Perfect for an on the go snack.

Tapaz2Go – Lentil crackers paired with hummus for single serve snacking goodness

Salazon Chocolate Co – salted chocolate bars.  I was in heaven!

Snack 101 – My favorite popcorn at the expo!  It is baked and has a great flavor.

The Toasted Oats – chewy, tasty granola that you will want to eat as a snack, in your cereal, on yogurt or however.

Original Saratoga Chips– kettle chips that have great flavor and crunch.  I may have eaten an entire bag!

East East 1

PASTAS

Mountain High Organics – they have quinoa pasta in a number of shapes and coconut oil.  Both are super good!

Tru Roots Pasta – ancient grain pastas made with quinoa, amaranth and brown rice.  Held up great to boiling and baking!

Laurie’s Kitchen Pasta & Sauce Mixes – easy pasta dinners in a box and they taste good.

Cesar’s Pasta Products – frozen Gluten Free pasta dishes to include lasagna, ravioli, gnocchi, stuffed shells and more!  If you find them, try them and be wowed!

Banza – pasta made with chickpeas that has a great texture and isn’t a funny color so kiddos will eat it!

Cappello’s – wicked awesome Gluten Free fresh pasta that will blow you away!

 

HEALTH PRODUCTS

You Theory – collagen and other amazing supplements.  I also got to met Dr. Nick who helps create the products – really good stuff!

Vega – fantastic, plant based protein powders.  I have been loving it in my morning smoothies!

Waxelene – petroleum jelly alternative products – I love the lip tube!

Kevita – probiotic drinks that taste good and do good for you, I enjoyed the lemon ginger flavor!

KidzShake – the protein powder we give our kiddos, Gluten Free, lactose free, nut free and sugar free

BONUSES

Gluten Free Labels – adorable and durable orange Gluten Free labels to show others your food, dish, utensil or condiment are Gluten Free.

Busa Farms Olive Oil – super smooth and had a great flavor!  I got a bottle of the Extra Virgil Olive Oil that I can’t wait to try.

Color Garden – Natural food colors that are Gluten Free, allergen free and vegan.  Makes moms happy!

Thousand Hills Cattle Company – 100% grass fed beef you can feel good about eating.  The hot dogs and sausage are great too.  Found in Target.

Tres Pupusas – WOW!  Naturally Gluten Free latin pupusas filled with beans, cheese, and goodness!

Ardenne Farm – baking mixes that are easy to prepare and taste great!

Lucky Foods – Gluten Free spring rolls that will make your tummy happy

Bob’s Red Mill – they had a huge booth with all their products.  I finally got my hands on the 1 for 1 baking flour, it doesn’t have any bean flours in it!

Virtuous Living Spices – I love them and use them daily – not exaggerating

Icebox Water – it is literally water in a box, like a milk carton.  I totally dug it and drank like 6 over the 2 days
