Simple Kneads Gluten Free Sourdough

Simple Kneads toasted gluten free sourdough bread

What happens when a natural foods chef has a son who has to eat Gluten Free? He creates Gluten Free, Top 8 Free, Vegan and Gluten Free bread. Enter Tristan from Simple Kneads. When his family first went Gluten Free to support their young son, they could not find a bread that met their requirements for quality and taste. After spending a few years perfecting the recipes, the finished product is Gluten Free bread that will make you never miss the gluten-filled bread again.

Gluten Free Sourdough Bread that tastes amazing AND has a good texture

See the air holes?!

Simple Kneads has 5 flavors:

Sourdough

Pumpkinickel

Quinoa Power Grains

Super Speedy – coming soon!

Greek Olive Bread – coming soon!

They are working on some new products that I will share with you in early 2016. Hint: it starts with Hamburger and ends with Bun!

The natural ingredients that are used to make Simple Kneads GF bread

Until the last month, Simple Kneads was only distributed wholesale to restaurants. November was the launch of Simple Kneads bread hitting retail shelves and being sold online. The bakery is located in North Carolina so local health foods stores are starting to carry the bread. If you are not local, head over to Amazon to order the bread. The Simple Kneads crew bakes bread daily and only ship fresh bread. The shelf life is also 8 days so you do not have to freeze it as soon as it arrives.

Simple Kneads Bread Highlights:

  • Baked in a dedicated Gluten Free facility (I’ve toured it and it is legit)
  • Free of the Top 8 allergens
  • Vegan
  • Uses almost 100% organic ingredients
  • Ingredients are non-GMO
  • 8 day shelf life
  • HIGH quality ingredients
  • Soft texture
  • Tastes great plain, right out of the bag

This bread is really different than any Gluten Free bread I’ve tried, and I’ve tried just about all of it!  From the texture, smell, and taste you can experience “real” sourdough bread again.

Simple Kneads Vision:

The best things in life are good for you. We produce products that bring this truth to everyday food, making foods more extraordinary by making them more basic.

The kiddos and I are loving this bread for sandwiches, grilled cheese and toast. It travels great so it was super helpful for our Thanksgiving trip. This would be a perfect bread to take with you to Aunt Sally’s for the holidays so you can have safe bread!

I can’t eat gluten, corn, or eggs so I haven’t been able to find a store bought or bakery bread that I can eat until now. I’ve tried baking my own, but it never seems to come out right. Simple Kneads bread looks amazing! They use wholesome ingredients with none of the foods that I have to avoid. It will be great to be able to eat a sandwich again! I can’t wait to try it!

What I look for in gluten free bread is if it doesn’t have any holes or if it doesn’t have to be toasted to be edible.

We look for a good texture and a great taste. It has been so hard for my son. He loves bread and especially sour dough bread. We have not been able to find one that tastes as good as what he likes in the gluten breads. Maybe this could be it.

Lori, what you describe sounds exactly like the reason our founder, Tristaun, started our company. It’s our goal to bring bread back to so many people’s tables.

Good GF bread= good texture (tastes great when toasted, I don’t mind if it needs toasting!), good smell, easily spread-upon, no after taste!

Would love to try new bread! I look for great taste and texture and the bread has to be moist (not dry like a lot of the breads)!

I look for great taste, for the bread not to fall apart when you make a sandwich, etc…I prefer natural, small amount of ingredients.
