The Everything Gluten-Free College Cookbook

Carrie Forbes does it again with her new Gluten Free Cookbook!  The Everything Gluten-Free College Cookbook is GF cooking 101 for the college student or young adult.  Love those BLT sandwiches your mom used to make you?  The recipe is in there!  Want to impress your roommate with a gourmet microwave breakfast?  It’s in there!  Want to make a fancy dinner for a date?  It’s in there!

If you don’t know Carrie she has an awesome Gluten Free blog called Ginger Lemon Girl.  She also loves her slow cooker like I do and wrote a killer GF slow cooker cookbook!  It has tons of ideas and recipe for your slow cooker.
This new book has easy everyday recipes as well as things like baked pumpkin crunch oatmeal, five-ingredient meatloaf that you cook in the microwave, and Maryland style crab cakes with country ham!  Carrie provides a wealth of basic cooking knowledge in the front of the book along with an education on Gluten Free cooking.
The book has recipes for: breakfast, lunch, party grub, study snacks, microwave meals, easy main dishes, vegetarian and vegan options, pasta and grains, special occasions and desserts.
When I went to college by mom gave me the Betty Crocker basics cookbook.  Carrie’s Everything Gluten-Free College Cookbook should be in the hands of any college student and young person just starting out.  I can’t wait to try some of her recipes in this great book!
And.. .since Carrie is awesome we are able to giveaway a copy of this GF college 101 cookbook.  Login below to enter.

Well I am in college right now and my favorite GF food is definitely my mom’s macaroni salad! I try to make it but it never turns out as tasty as when my mom makes it.

My favorite go to food when I was in college was rice. I would fix rice and add tuna and cheese or add chicken breast with some steamed veggies. It was a great staple to have. Thanks for offering this!

I just graduated college in December and shortly thereafter found out I was sick because of gluten! My go-to was a peanut butter sandwich or mac & cheese so I was pretty much making myself sicker.
